The Dunnerdale fell race is held on 9 November 2013. The race often attracts around 250 runners, with the fastest runners completeing the course in around 40 minutes. The Dunnerdale fell race is held in the lake district National Park and he start is from Broughton Mills. The Dunnerdale fell race is organised by the Black Combe Runners. The race climbs out of Broughton Mills climbing The Knott and Ravens Cragg, at this point the race descends to the road crossing before climbing back up to Stickle Pike, the route then descends before undulating towards Great Stickle. From here the race descends back to the start at Broughton Mills. After the race there is food provided in the local pub.
