To be able to complete in the iconic UTMB races which are held each year in the Alps you must first qualify by earning points from qualification races;

The event HQ is Chamonix in the French Alps, however the CC and TDS routes start from Courmayeur in Italy.
The HEBRIDEAN CHALLENGE (The Heb) is back in 2013. One of Britains iconic adventure races returns with ‘Durty Events’ (the winner of the ‘Triathlon of the Year 2012’) organising the race. Gary Tompsett an experienced adventure racer and planner will be in charge of putting together this challenging course set in the Hebridean Islands.
This unique race is for teams of 3 or Solos. Each night, the race will stop overnight in one of the island communities. The event will be held from 5-7 September. Further details
The SLMM is a two-day mountain navigation event open to teams of two and solo Klets (elite) competitors. A limit on the total number of entries on each course has been set, in accordance with the wishes of landowners and environmental organisations. Entries are now Open.
This is a great event that is fantastic for beginers and seasoned mountain marathoners alike.

Ride London 100: Possibly the biggest cycling event Britain has ever seen.
Demand for places in the inaugural RideLondon100 is anticipated to outstrip supply, the entry process will shut when 75,000 people are registered or no later 4th January 2013. 20,000 amateur cyclists are expected to take part in this 100 mile ride which is a modified version of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race route. It is anticipated that the event will be over-subscribed and that a ballot will be held to allocate places in the event. Further details
